HOURS & PRICES
We welcome visitors throughout most of the year. Summer is our busiest season, when Henningsvær is full of life and the midnight sun stretches the days well into the evening. In winter, guided tours offer a quieter way to experience the collection alongside a visit to Lofoten during the northern lights season.

You’ll find Galleri Lofoten on Henningsvær’s main street, in the same building the gallery has called home for decades. If you’re walking from the harbour, you can’t miss us.

By car
Henningsvær is approximately 30 minutes by road from Svolvær, following the E10 and then the local road out onto the island. Parking is available near the gallery.
By ferry or cruise
Hurtigruten, Havila, Fred Olsen Travel and Nordic Tours all include Henningsvær on their itineraries. Ask your operator about a gallery visit.
By local tour
Several local operators run day trips to Henningsvær from Svolvær and Leknes. Check with your hotel or go to VisitLofoten.com.

Please note: Access between floors is by staircase only.
Visitors using a wheelchair or with limited mobility are warmly welcome on the ground floor, where you’ll find our Golden Age collection, wine room and gallery shop. A reduced admission rate is available for visitors who are unable to access the upper floors.
