Events
A living gallery. Always something to come back for.
Galleri Lofoten is more than a place to view art. Throughout the year, concerts beneath the paintings, exhibition openings that continue into the evening, school groups discovering Norwegian art, and private events bring fresh energy to the gallery and its historic spaces.
The events programme runs throughout the year. Browse what’s coming up, or get in touch to plan your own event.

There is a particular quality to conversations that happen here, surrounded by art and overlooking Henningsvær’s historic harbour. The setting encourages people to slow down, relax and see things from a different perspective.
Galleri Lofoten is available for strategy days, board meetings, client events, product launches and team retreats. Hire the whole building or choose the spaces that best suit your event.

- Curator-led tours and cultural experiences on request
- Full AV facilities in the Cinema Hall
- A dedicated team to help you plan your event from start to finish
School & Education
We offer guided visits tailored to different age groups and curricula, with a particular focus on the history of North Norwegian art, the relationship between landscape and painting, and the lives of the artists who worked here. Our guides know how to talk about art in a way that keeps twelve-year-olds engaged, which we believe is a skill in itself.
School visits are available at reduced rates. We ask that all school groups book in advance.
